During 2 years Black Pied calves in groups of 12 to 14 were reared from April to August on perennial ryegrass or perennial ryegrass with 30 to 50% white clover pasture and Dactylis pasture. Digestibility of mixed ryegrass pasture was greater and decreased less during the pasturing period than ryegrass alone. Total nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and copper were greater in mixed pasture.
