, : Effect of air temperature on the productivity of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum, Schum) cultivar Vruckwona. Cientifica 10(2): 285-293

In a field trial at Botucatu, P. purpureum Vruckwona was cut 6 times 5 cm above soil level at 60-day intervals, 52 days after planting in Oct. 1974. DM production was studied in relation to temp. variables and the best correlations were found with mean and absolute lowest temp. Yield could be estimated by air temp. 50 days before cutting.
