, : Effect of amitrole on chloroplast pigment levels in Nicotiana rustica and Triticum vulgare plants. Anales de Edafologia y Agrobiologia 42(1/2): 329-342

Tobacco and wheat were treated with 0, 10 or 1000 p.p.m. amitrole during early growth or as mature plants. In both spp. amitrole reduced growth and induced chlorosis due to chloroplast malformations and reductions in concn. of both chlorophylls and carotenoids.
