Adults of O. sabulosum (a tenebrionid pest of soils in nurseries, shelterbelts etc.), weeds (chicory) and soil samples were taken from the S. side of a shelterbelt either near a busy road or far away from the road in Rostov Province, USSR. The contents of Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn are tabulated.
