Effect of using cassava on carcass and meat quality in heavy pigs

From about 30 to 150 kg liveweight 2 groups of 21 Large White pigs were given mixed feeds based on maize and barley without or with cassava 21.5% replacing part of the maize. Mean daily gain was 0.642 and 0.622 kg and feed conversion indices 3.94 and 4.35, respectively.
