Fenbendazole (25 mg/kg) was given to 15 dogs infected with Ancylostoma caninum, 2 of which were also infected with Spirocerca lupi and one with infected with Taenia sp. Within 2 days of treatment no A. caninum eggs were found in faeces, although fenbendazole had no effect on the number of S. lupi or Taenia eggs. PM examination of two dogs showed male but no female A. caninum.
