Experimental induction of urinary bladder neoplasms in cattle by feeding Pteridium revolutum

Six cattle weighing 80-120 kg body and aged 1-1.5 years were fed a diet containing P. revolutum (harvested in July and August) at 525 g/animal/day. One animal killed 263 days later had no bladder lesions. The other five were fed the bracken for 820 days and killed 1113-1121 days after the start of the bracken diet.
