Experimental intestinal obstruction in cattle. II. Changes in blood, urine and rumen content chemistry

Zentralblatt fur Veterinarmedizin, A 32(4): 276-288

Changes in blood, urine and rumen content chemistry were studied in cattle with experimentally produced specific obstruction of the small intestine. Eighteen cows were divided into three groups: group (A) obstruction of the duodenum; group (B) obstruction in the middle of the small intestine; group (C) obstruction 20 cm cranial to the caecum.
