Experimental observation of 65Zn metabolism on rats fed on crops from endemic and non-endemic districts of Keshan disease

Uptake of 65Zn in blood, liver, kidneys and brown adipose tissue was significantly higher in rats fed on crops grown in districts of China where Keshan disease is endemic than in those fed on crops grown in districts where the disease is not endemic.
