Experimental reduction of the effects of vibrations on farm machine drivers and operators

Experimental reduction of the effects of vibrations on farm machine drivers and operators

Zemedelska Technika 31(10): 625-638

A 15 kw two wheel drive tractor was assessed over a 35 m long standard test track for vibrations. Frequency spectra for driver's seat were measured and found mainly in the low range of up to 10 Hz. The vibrations of the handlebars of a one axle small tractor (3.2 kW) with cutterbar were also measured. The main source of vibrations was the motor (63-125 Hz) and the cutterbar (12.5-25 Hz).
