Experimental report on the liver fattening of Black Muscovy duck

Black Muscovy ducks, average liveweight 2.2 kg, were force-fed with 8 kg maize for 17 days. Average weight of liver was 373.6 g which was 8.3 times that of the control, 44.7 g. For each kg maize given, liver weight increased by 41.2 g and body weight increased by 80.7 g.
