Experiments with GnRH for the single mating of female mink

Monatshefte fur Veterinarmedizin 39(15): 524-527

Five groups, each of 20 were given 5, 10 or 20 micro g GnRH or 50 IU HCG 1 wk before a single mating, or were untreated and mated twice (controls). Pregnancy rates in the 5 groups were 73.7, 89.5, 81.2, 78.9 and 95.0% resp., litter size averaged 4.7, 5.2, 4.8, 4.9 and 4.7, and number of kits per housed 3.3, 4.4, 3.3, 3.6 and 4.5.
