Offspring of Charolais, Central and Upper Belgian and Piedment bulls and Belgian White-Red heifers, purebred White-Red calves and progeny of Beefalo bulls and White-Red or Black Pied cows were assessed. Beefalo crosses were of low birthweight. Rearing performance varied according to diet, with or without suckling.
