After first describing the pretreatment of samples, methods of soil analysis are described for aluminium, ammonium (exchangeable), arsenic, cadmium, calcium (total, exchangeable), carbonate, chloride, chromium, copper, iron, lead, magnesium (total, exchangeable), manganese (reducible, exchangeable), mercury, mineral nirogen, nitrate, nitrite, total N, phosphate (three fractions), potassium (three fractions), silicic acid, silicon, sodium (two fractions), sulphate, sulphur and zinc.
