Zhivotnovodstvo (11): 41-42

For 266 sows born when their dams were kept from May to mid Sep. in paddocks with moveable arks, the percentages remaining in the breeding herd at 24, 36, 48 and 60 months of age were 38, 32, 23 and 10% resp. vs. 36, 30, 21 and 9% for sows born when their dams were housed in pens.
