Extra-curricular activities of youth

Extra-curricular activities of youth

Loisir et Societe 6(2): 403-427

Individual and collective self education is a goal which is being pursued more and more by today's children and young people. It goes on in, out, or despite the school and often meets the conditions of a genuine process of education parallel to that which is received in school, and guided by specific and freely-chosen interests on the part of those concerned. As such, these activities can contribute to the inception of a new educational policy.
