Extracted rapeseed oilmeal Tandem in diets for young and adult pigs

In the 1st feeding trial adult pigs given control feed mixtures A2 and A3 alone or with 3, 6 or 9% extracted rapeseed oilmeal "Tandem" gained daily 635, 667, 659 and 663 g with mixtures A2 and 616, 647, 629 and 671 g with mixture A3. A similar result was obtained in a 2nd experiment with 3 and 6% "Tandem" added to the basal diet. Piglets given, before weaning, "Tandem" at 4% of mixture gained daily 188 g compared with 194 g by those not given "Tandem".
