Extranuclear chloramphenicol resistance mutations in the basidiomycete Sistotrema brinkmannii

Extranuclear chloramphenicol resistance mutations in the basidiomycete Sistotrema brinkmannii

Experimental Mycology 8(3): 256-260

The 4 chloramphenicol resistance mutations induced in homokaryons of this wood rotting fungus were shown to be extranuclear, the first such drug resistance markers reported in any basidiomycete.
