Fertility of derno-podzolic soil and crop yields in specialized grain crop rotations under different fertilizer regimes and soil management systems

A rotation of (a) winter wheat/spring barley/winter rye/spring oats given NPK alone or with green manure or green manure + straw was compared with (b) the standard rotation of winter wheat/spring barley/winter rye/Vicia sativa + oats and (c) a rotation of 2 years winter wheat/spring oats/spring barley both given NPK. The effects of cultivation to 10-12, 20-22 and 28-30 cm depth in spring, combined with cultivation to 10-12 cm in winter were compared in rotation (a) given NPK + green manure.
