Genetic analysis of quantitative characters in F2 populations of Korean local and oriental tobacco varieties (Nicotiana tabacum L.)

Genetic analysis of quantitative characters in F2 populations of Korean local and oriental tobacco varieties (Nicotiana tabacum L.)

J Korean Soc Tob Sci 6(2): 207-214

In a study of 28 F2 hybrids of a diallel cross between local Korean varieties and oriental varieties, general combining ability effects were significant for all characters evaluated. Specific combining ability effects were significant for stalk height, leaves/plant, leaf length, leaf width and days to flower.
