Genetic analysis of quantitative characters in Upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.). I. Estimation of genetic effects on 17 agronomic characters from generation means



Acta Genetica Sinica 12(5): 344-349



The results are presented of a study of genetic variance of 10 plant type and 7 yield and quality characters in the P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1 and BC2 of 11 hybrids. In general, it was concluded that the inheritance of plant type characters was not simpler than that of other characters.
