Genetic studies in tetraploid wheats. VII. Inheritance of seedling resistance against stem rust races

The mode of inheritance of seedling resistance to 6 races of Puccinia graminis f.sp. tritici was studied in 5 crosses involving the cultivars A-1-8-1, Gulah and MACS-9 as susceptible and Gaza, ED-1606, MACS-68 and carthlicum-1582 as resistant parents. Resistance was dominant over susceptibility, with mono-, di- and trigenic control involving duplicate and complementary interactions.
