Among 50 varieties inoculated as seedlings in laboratory and greenhouse investigations, none displayed any useful degree of resistance to F. culmorum, but Adalfa, Apollo, Glacier, Irognois Luxin, Maris Sabilt, Prima, Ramsey, Ranger, Roamer, Titan, Verneuil and Victoria were less susceptible than the rest to F. solani and F. avenaceum.
