Isoenzyme analysis of M2 wheat mutants induced by the combined action of caffeine and 60Co gamma rays

In the roots of different mutants of Alondra's, compared with the original, the dwarf and tall mutants both showed faster migration of peroxidase band 2c towards the negative pole but the former showed increased activity of this band while the latter showed decreased activity and band 3c activity was also lower; in the large-eared mutants, the migration rate of band 3c was altered and the activity of bands 3c and 2c was reduced; in the early mutants band 3c activity increased.
