Isolation of embryo sacs by enzymatic maceration and its potential in haploid study

Haploids of higher plants in vitro: 192-203
Isolation of embryo sacs by enzymatic maceration and its potential in haploid study
Progress in this area is reviewed under headings dealing with (1) technique, (2) isolation of mature embryo sacs from chemically fixed ovules of Nicotiana tabacum, Vicia faba and Brassica campestris, (3) observations on megasporogenesis and megagametogenesis in Paulownia sp. and Sesamum indicum, and (4) isolation of embryo sacs before and after fertilization from fixed and fresh ovules of Antirrhinum majus.
