Tables are given showing the density (examples per apple tree) of Laspeyresia pomonella and its parasites at 4 sites in the south-east of the Kazakh SSR, USSR, the extent of damage caused and the degree of parasitism. There are 20 species of hymenopterous parasites and 14 species of insect and arachnid predators, and these are listed. The most effective natural enemies were those that attacked the eggs and 1st-instar larvae.
