Natural enemies associated with high altitude forest weeds in Pakistan with notes on ecology and biology of important species

Pakistan Journal of Forestry, 353: 105-111

A survey of the weeds Lonicera spp., Ribes spp. and Pueraria tuberosa in 1973-76. Of 20 insect species found, 6 species (Alucita spilodesma, Psychromnestra phaeothicta, Phyllonorycter montanella, Caloptilia deltosticta, Paraphytomyza sp., Hyadaphis sp.) and a disease caused by Lasiobotrys lonicerae produced appreciable damage in Lonicera. Three insect species (Nematus ribesii, Zelleria ribesiella (Euhyponomeutoides ribesiella) and Anthaxia) out of 12 caused appreciable damage to Ribes.
