North Dakota on-farm grain storage capacity



North Dakota Farm Research 42(5): 14-19



A survey conducted among North Dakota farmers during 1983 indicated that the total permanent on farm grain storage capacity for the state was 947.5 million bu. Temporary storage facilities accommodated 19 549 bu and only a small proportion of the respondents owned no on-farm grain storage. Steel bins were the primary grain storage structure.
