Notes on the chironomid midges of the subfamilies Chironominae and Orthocladiinae collected by light traps in a rice paddy area in Tokushima (Diptera, Chironomidae)

Japanese Journal of Sanitary Zoology 37(1): 17-39

Adults of Chironomidae were collected using light traps in rice fields near Tokushima City, Japan, between 25 April and 24 October 1984. A total of 32 823 males and 41 691 females belonging to 30 species of Chironominae, 4 of Orthocladiinae and 7 of Tanypodinae were identified.
