Partial resistance of wheat, Triticum aestivum, to Septoria nodorum. Length of incubation, spread of symptoms and 1000-grain weight

Partial resistance of wheat, Triticum aestivum, to Septoria nodorum. Length of incubation, spread of symptoms and 1000-grain weight
Earlier work (see Plant Breeding Abstracts 52, 3733) has shown that the length of the incubation period (LPI) of S. nodorum (Leptosphaeria nodorum) is a varietal characteristic in wheat and that successful selection for higher or lower LPI values is possible. BC3 lines from crosses involving Roazon and Carala (4 selected for low and 4 for high LPI) were investigated.
