Pathogenic differentiation of Xanthomonas oryzae in Fujian province and its implications in the choice of varieties
The majority of strains collected all over Fujian were weakly pathogenic in a three-year study using 5 differential varieties. Only one strain, from the coastal area of Jinjian, was strongly aggressive. The remaining, moderately aggressive, strains, were from both coastal and mountainous areas.
