Patterns of countryside recreation trips

Scottish Leisure Survey Report, Countryside Commission for Scotland (4): 79
Patterns of countryside recreation trips
Findings of the 1981 Scottish Leisure Survey are reported which relate to countryside recreation participation in the predominantly urban Central Belt of Scotland, UK. Differences in levels and patterns of participation were found to be less marked between the Central Belt and the rest of Scotland than within the Central Belt itself, with Edinburgh and Glasgow showing marked variations. The geographical differences mirror disparities between socioeconomic groups.
