Physiological effect of sodium lignoate on young seedlings of Pinus elliottii

The physiological effects of sodium lignoate on germinating seeds, hydroponically cultured seedlings and yearlings were studied. Peroxidase activity in the treated materials varied with the concn. of sodium lignoate used. Better results were obtained with 25-50 p.p.m. in inhibiting the activity of peroxidase.
