Rate reducing resistance to narrow brown leaf spot in rice



Phytopathology 75(4): 503



Disease severity ranged from 0.8% to 25.5% and rate of infection with Cercospora oryzae from 0.05 to 0.20 in 22 lines with mean disease ratings of 2-4 (on a scale of 0-9). Five lines with low infection rates, one line with monogenic resistance and a susceptible control were field-tested with fungal isolates from Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana, USA.
