Reproduction of Globodera rostochiensis (Woll.) Behrens on resistant and susceptible potatoes in Finland



Nematologica 30(3): 339-347



Susceptible and resistant (H1) potato cultivars were grown in nematode-infested experimental fields in northern and southern Finland. The resistant cultivars yielded well in southern Finland, and they also satisfactorily reduced the nematode populations. In the northern experimental field at the Arctic Circle the nematode population decreased and seemed to disappear, as it also did under susceptible potatoes.
