In field trials in 1976-8, application of 60 kg N + 30 kg P2O5 + 30 kg K2O/ha, or 180 kg N + 30 kg P2O5 + 30 kg K2O increased rice Jaya yields by 42.18 and 62.26%, resp., during the kharif season and by 32.48 and 51.4%, resp., during the summer.
