Response of soyabean cultivars to different phosphorus levels and aluminium saturation

Response of soyabean cultivars to different phosphorus levels and aluminium saturation

Revista Ceres 31(178): 434-443

In a pot trial, soyabeans (a) Bragg, (b) Santa Rosa, (c) Andrews and (d) UFV-1 were grown in a red-yellow latosol at 0.0, 0.25 or 0.50 times the max. P adsorption capacity in combination with A1 concn. of 50, 25 or 5% of the soil aluminium saturation. At 35 days after sowing sensitivity to A1 saturation was in the order (a) > (b) > (c) > (d). Highest DM production was given by (d) at 25% A1 saturation.
