Response to fertilization of a white pine (Pinus strobus L.) plantation near Bethel

Response to fertilization of a white pine (Pinus strobus L.) plantation near Bethel

CFRU Progress Report, School of Forest Resources, University of Maine (20): 5

Various combinations of NPK were applied in May 1980 to plots in a plantation established in 1964 on the flood plain of the Androscoggin River, Maine. Measurements of d.b.h. in autumn 1981 show that responses to fertilizers were small.
