The yield and composition of milk was monitored throughout lactations of crossbred cows with 5/8 Holstein-Friesian (HF) and superscript 3/8 zebu inheritance (basis of the Siboney de Cuba) and with superscript 3/4 HF and 1/4 zebu inheritance (basis of the Mambi de Cuba), and the effect of various factors was analysed.
