Studies on the inheritance of quantitative characters in rice. III. Distribution of genes for various characters in the F2 of a partial diallel cross of rice grown under cold-water irrigation and under natural conditions

Studies on the inheritance of quantitative characters in rice. III. Distribution of genes for various characters in the F2 of a partial diallel cross of rice grown under cold-water irrigation and under natural conditions

Research Reports, Office of Rural Development, S Korea, Crop 26(1): 44-49

Six characters were studied in the F2 of a partial diallel of 7 varieties. When irrigated with water at 20 degrees C, partial dominance was evident for culm length, panicle length, number of panicles and grain fertility and overdominance for flag-leaf length and number of spikelets per panicle.
