Survey of Staphylococcus aureus in market Egyptian Ras cheese and the presence of enterotoxins types A & B



Egyptian Journal of Food Science 13(2): 151-155



The presence of enterotoxins A and B was studied in 50 commercial Ras cheeses obtained in the Cairo region. Av. count of Staphylococcus aureus in the cheeses was 2.4 million/g, but no enterotoxins were detected in the cheeses.
