Roczniki Nauk Rolniczych, A Produkcja Roslinna 105(2): 53-66



In field trials in 1972-75 on slightly acid pseudopodzolic soil, rye Dankowskie Srebrne, Pancerne and Wojcieszyckie were sown at 2, 3 or 4 x 106 seeds/ha and given 60, 90 or 120 kg N + 72 kg P2O5 + 100 kg K2O/ha. The 3 gave similar grain yields (3.7-3.9 t/ha) although their morphological characteristics varied. Applied N increased grain yield in all up to a rate of 90 kg/ha, but had a positive effect only on the number of ears/msuperscript 2. Sowing rate did not affect grain yield.
