The influence of cross pollination on seed yields of Medicago sativa Palava and Ondava was investigated in field trials using large exclusion cages. Seed yields were 44.8 kg/ha with self pollination and 639.23 kg/ha from cross pollination as an av. of 2 years and Seed yields of both were significantly increased by 18.31 kg/ha by foliar application of Mo and B at the bud formation stage. Self-pollination was 11% in Palava and 3.5% in Ondrava.
