The morphology, biology and natural enemies of ermine moths in the Azerbaijan SSR

Izvestiya Akademii Nauk Azerbadzhansko SSR, Biologicheskikh Naukrecd 1984(3): 83-88

Information is given on the morphology, biology and natural enemies of Yponomeuta malinellus, Y. padellus, Y. irrorellus, Y. cagnatellus Y. plumbellus and Y. rorellus attacking fruit trees in the Azerbaijan SSR, USSR, on the basis of studies carried out in 1965-78. A total of 25 species of parasites was recorded, the most effective of which was Ageniaspis fuscicollis, which attacked all 6 species and reduced their abundance by 70-75%. Nythobia armillata reduced their abundance by 35-40%.
