Abstract
A new species of Microtermes is described from the Yemen Arab Republic. Adults of M. najdensis, a pest of various crops (especially cotton) in that country, are described for the first time, and the soldier and worker castes are redescribed. These are the only known species of Microtermes in the Arabian Peninsula.
