Variation and repeatability of milk yield, FCM yield and milk fat percentage in crossbreds of Slovakian Pied with Holstein-Friesian and Dutch Black Pied cattle

Data were obtained on 382 lactations of 91 cows which were Slovakian Pieds with 50 or 75% of Holstein-Friesian (HF) or Dutch Black Pied (DBP) inheritance. For the 2 types of HF and the 2 types of DBP crossbreds, milk yield averaged 3982, 4147, 3835 and 3714 kg resp., milk fat percentage 4.12, 4.15, 4.11 and 4.17, and FCM yield 4052, 4250, 3911 and 3820 kg.
