Vegetative growth and nutritional status as influenced by auxins and gibberellic acid, and their effect on fruit yield in lemon

, : Vegetative growth and nutritional status as influenced by auxins and gibberellic acid, and their effect on fruit yield in lemon. Scientia Horticulturae 26(1): 25-33

Application of 2,4-D or 2,4,5-T (5 to 20 mg l-1) to 5-year-old Pant Lemon-1 trees reduced the vegetative growth in terms of tree height, spread, shoot length, and number and size of leaves in the autumn flush. Various NAA treatments (5-20 mg l-1), however, enhanced growth but not as much as GA3.
