In pods and seeds of soyabeans Ransom, 4 h after an application of 14C-vernolate 40 days after flowering, 14C recovery decreased by 50%. Non-polar extracts decreased logarithmically reaching 10% of total 14C recovered 24-48 h after application, with seed non-polar extracts not exceeding 2%; pod non-polar extracts consisted of vernolate and an unidentified component. Pod polar extracts increased to 75% of total 14C recovered 24-48 h after treatment decreasing to 60% after 72 h.
