Vernolate plus R-33865
The effects of pre-sowing incorporation of 3 or 4 lb vernolate/acre alone or with R-33865 (O,O-diethyl-O-phenylphosphorothioate) on weed control and soyabean injury were studied in the field. Soyabean injury was significantly lower with vernolate + R-33865 at a ratio of 6:1 than with vernolate alone. The level and duration of control of Setaria faberi were increased by R-33685; 3 lb vernolate/acre + R-33865 gave similar control to 4 lb vernolate/acre alone.
