A vertical frictionally abrasive roll rice polishing machine has a vertical rotary shaft extended in a framework, a vertical frictionally abrasive roll mounted at the upper end of the shaft, and a polishing cylinder surrounding the abrasive roll to define an annular polishing chamber between roll and cylinder.
